Monument of the Union

The Monument of the Union, located in Alba Iulia, is a symbol of national unity, dedicated to the historic event of December 1, 1918, when Transylvania united with Romania. Built between 1921 and 1924, this imposing monument rises to a height of 7 meters and is made of white stone, showcasing a neoclassical architectural style. At its base, visitors can observe bas-reliefs depicting key moments in Romanian history.

In addition to its architectural beauty, the Monument of the Union offers a panoramic view of the Alba Carolina Fortress, another important tourist attraction in Alba Iulia.
