Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden, located in the Alba Carolina Fortress, is a place that blends nature with Japanese tradition. Opened in 2015, this garden exemplifies harmony between oriental architecture and the natural landscape of Alba Iulia. At the entrance, you are greeted by a wooden bridge that leads you through a maze of ornamental plants, shrubs, and colorful flowers. Every corner of the garden is thoughtfully designed, inspiring calm and reflection.

On the narrow paths, you can observe elements specific to Japanese gardens, such as carefully arranged stones, koi ponds, and Buddha statues. In the middle of this oasis of tranquility, there is a traditional gazebo, an ideal spot to relax and admire the view.
