Turnu Monastery

Turnu Monastery is located on the left bank of the Olt River, near the town of Călimănești, Vâlcea County. Founded in the 17th century, this monastery is a remarkable example of Brâncovenesc architecture, with Byzantine influences. Its construction was completed in 1696, and the main church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
