Caraiman Monastery

Caraiman Monastery, located on Palanca Street in Bușteni, is a place of worship built between 1993 and 2009, featuring a modern architectural style inspired by Byzantine tradition. This monastery lies at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, offering a spectacular view of the surrounding mountainous landscape. The monastery is dedicated to the Holy Virgin Mary, and every year, on August 15, an important celebration takes place, attracting numerous pilgrims.
